Nifty Media index ended up 5.15% at 1710.65 today. The index has gained 10.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Saregama India Ltd rose 13.27%, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd gained 10.05% and Prime Focus Ltd added 5.53%. The Nifty Media index has soared 12.00% over last one year compared to the 6.40% slide in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Realty index gained 2.85% and Nifty Metal index added 2.80% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.63% to close at 23960.6 while the SENSEX increased 0.50% to close at 77301.4 today.
