Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd consolidated sales down 18.53% on year in Q3FY2026, net profit soared by 249.23%

Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd share price crashed 9.36% to Rs 327.65 after the company's net profit jumped 249.23% to Rs 4.54 crore, while revenue from operations reduced 18.53% to Rs 494.0 crore in Q3FY26 over Q2FY26.

The market capitalization of Sugar industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 42447.11 crore, declining 8.39%. It has eased by 4.99% over last one week and crept higher by 2.46% in last one month while the market capitalization of Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd has softened by 7.17% and 47.16% in the same period respectively.

Profit before tax (PBT) of Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd stood at Rs 6.24 crore in Q3 FY26, rallying 275.90% year-on-year, and expanding by 273.65% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 21 crore, gaining 7.07% YoY and tanking 15.54% sequentially.

Total expenses reduced by 18.36% to Rs 483.87 crore in Q3FY26 over Q3FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 54.98 crore, tumbling by 20.27% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 31.03 crore, surging 32.32% YoY.

For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations rose 19.27% to Rs 2201.65 crore, while net profit improved by 17.23% to Rs 100.58 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 20641% to Rs 220.96 crore, and PBT improved 14.64% to Rs 135.27 crore compared to previous TTM.

The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 270.41 crore in FY26, as against Rs 101.89 crore in FY25.

Uttam Sugar Mills Ltd rallied 30.07% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has reduced by 11.78% during the same period.
