Brahmaputra Infrastructure Limited secures Rs 701.8 million, five-year highway maintenance contract in Mizoram

Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd. is currently down 2.24% to Rs 160.48, extending recent losses that have seen the stock decline 6.03% over the last week. Brahmaputra Infrastructure Limited has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRT&H), Government of India, for a Performance Based Maintenance Contract (PBMC) on National Highway-502A in Mizoram, valued at Rs 701.8 million (approximately USD 84.45 million). The 60-month (five-year) contract, covering an 87.180 km stretch, involves operation and maintenance of the highway corridor and is anticipated to contribute meaningfully to the company's revenue while establishing a competitive advantage for future infrastructure projects in the India–Myanmar border region, with an expected EBITDA margin of 15 to 20%. Trading volume reached 38166 shares today, a surge of 469.81% compared to the average volume of the last one week. Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd remained flat year-over-year, contrasting with a 3.32% loss in the NIFTY50 index.
