Insolation Energy jumps 2.61% as subsidiary wins Rs 425 crore Maharashtra solar project order

Insolation Energy Ltd. is up 2.61% to Rs 96.24, although the stock has declined recently, slipping 2.21% over the last week. Insolation Energy Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Insolation Green Energy Private Limited, has received a letter of award from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) to set up nine solar power projects aggregating a total capacity of 99 MW AC (128.7 MW DC) under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana - 2.0. The projects, located in various territories of Maharashtra, are expected to generate an annual revenue of Rs 59.72 crores over a 25-year period, based on a finalized levelized tariff of Rs 2.90 per unit. The total investment for the 99 MW project is estimated at approximately Rs 425 crore (including GST) and is slated for commissioning within 18 months from the date of the Power Purchase Agreement execution. Trading volume reached 4.24 lakh shares today, a surge of 29.61% compared to the average volume over the last one week. Insolation Energy Ltd remained flat year-over-year, outperforming the NIFTY50 index's 3.32% loss.
