Larsen & Toubro's LTEH Onshore secures Rs 15,000 crore EPC contract for a Middle East gas compression project

Larsen & Toubro Ltd. remains at Rs 4088.1, with the stock having risen 0.03% over the last one week. Larsen & Toubro’s Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore (LTEH Onshore) has secured a contract for an ultra-mega gas compression facilities project in the Middle East, following a letter of award issued in fiscal year 2026. The project, valued at over Rs 15,000 Cr, encompasses the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of gas compression plants, including associated utilities, and will also involve the execution of two 230 kV extra-high-voltage substations by L&T’s Power Transmission & Distribution business. According to Senior Vice President E S Sathyanarayanan, the contract represents a strategically important venture that leverages L&T’s extensive experience in hydrocarbon facilities and reinforces its capabilities in sour gas applications. Trading volume reached 53270 shares today, a decrease of 95.0% compared to the one-week average volume. Larsen & Toubro Ltd. edged up by 13.69% year-over-year, outperforming the 3.32% loss recorded by the NIFTY50 index.
